Australian elite foundations. NCAA Division I experience. A modern, science-driven approach to performance.
Russell Performance Co’s Development Programs are designed for athletes aged 16-30 who are serious about improvement, but not yet operating in a full-time professional environment.
These programs apply the same performance systems and principles used at the elite level — scaled appropriately for athletes balancing school, university, work, and life.
Coaching is delivered by Performance Coach Finn Russell, under the direct framework and philosophy of RPCo.
Middle-distance and distance runners (800m – 10km, half marathon / marathon)

Meet your Coach:
I’m Finn Russell — an Australian-born, US-based middle-distance athlete and Performance Coach at Russell Performance Co.
I currently compete as an NCAA Division I athlete in one of the most demanding collegiate systems in the United States.
I coach because I’ve lived both sides of the system — the moments when training clicks, and the times when it doesn’t. I’ve seen how powerful the right structure and support can be, and how limiting poor programming, or mismanaged load can become for developing athletes.
My coaching blends lived performance experience with a strong foundation in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology, allowing me to deliver programs that are practical, evidence-based, and genuinely athlete-first.
Competitive Background
My competitive background provides context for how I coach — I understand the demands of the events, the progression required over time, and what it takes to perform while balancing training, study, and life.
